Serenity Cove Farm

Anyone who knows me is always surprised to learn I'm a fan of the TV show Firefly, especially since I don't own a TV. There's a line in the show's out takes that says, "Once you've been to Serenity, you never really leave." There is something about farming that one line sums up. And that, my friends, is how I chose the name for my farm. 

My aim with this blog is to allow you to see what real life is like on a homestead and budding farm. We'll have gardening tips, maybe some crafts, animal care, walks in the woods, discuss issues facing today's small farmers, meet the neighbors, and most likely you'll get a good dose of what not to do.
